2. Data Collection

We collect personal data that you voluntarily provide in our forms:

  • Guide (home page and /guide/): email address, name (optional)
  • Thesis dispatches (/thesis/): email address
  • Workshop and roundtable applications: email address and, if you fill them in, company and role, industry, goals and your message
  • Communication data (when you contact us by email)

With each form we also store the page you sent it from, the time, any campaign parameters (UTM) in the address and the session identifier of your current visit (see section 7). Each submission is first stored in our own database on our server (Hostinger, data centre in Frankfurt, Germany), read back to make sure nothing is lost, and then forwarded to our automation (see section 8).

3. Purpose of Processing

We process your data to:

  • Send you the requested guide
  • Send you the guide updates or the thesis dispatches you subscribed to
  • Review your workshop or roundtable application and get back to you
  • Respond to your inquiries
  • Check that our forms work reliably (the session identifier links a submission to the pages of the same visit only)

4. Legal Basis

Guide updates and thesis dispatches: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you give with the checkbox and can withdraw at any time with effect for the future, by email to tz@tt-industries.com or via the unsubscribe link in each email. Applications and inquiries: steps prior to entering into a contract at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Storing submissions in our own database before forwarding them, and linking them to the same visit: our legitimate interest in not losing requests and in forms that work (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR); you can object at any time.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data only as long as necessary for the purposes stated or as required by law. You can request deletion at any time.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to access, rectify, delete, restrict processing, data portability, and object to processing. Contact us at tz@tt-industries.com.

7. Own Reach Measurement (cookieless)

To understand which pages and buttons are used and where visitors drop off, we run our own first-party measurement on our own server. No third-party analytics provider is involved and nothing is passed on to third parties.

  • What is recorded: page views, clicks on buttons and links, scroll depth (25/50/75/100 %) and form submissions (which form was sent, not its content), each with time and page path.
  • No cookies and no device fingerprinting. A random session ID is kept in your browser's session storage for the current tab only and is deleted when you close it.
  • Your IP address is not stored. To recognise automated traffic, we derive a pseudonym from a shortened IP address and the browser identifier using a secret key; it changes every day and cannot be traced back to you.
  • When you submit a form, the session ID is sent along so we can tell which page led to the enquiry.
  • Retention: raw events are deleted automatically after 90 days.
  • If your browser sends a "Do Not Track" signal, no measurement takes place.

Legal basis is our legitimate interest in improving our website and recognising misuse (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). You can object at any time by enabling "Do Not Track" or contacting tz@tt-industries.com.

8. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

  • n8n Cloud: For form processing and automation (form submissions are first stored on our own server, then forwarded)
  • Calendly: For scheduling appointments
  • Google Fonts: For typography (no tracking)
